Pursuit of Research strives to promote good nutrition from foods that provide essential nutrients for it’s therapeutic benefits, with an emphasis on those individuals with neurologically based impairments and conditions. Our primary function is to act as the fundraising entity of the CHERAB Foundation which is working to improve the communication skills, education, and advocacy of the verbally disabled.
“Nutritional Therapy”
It’s well known that diet does effect cognition and learning, including for special needs. According to a study published in The Lancet journal diet may help ADHD more than drugs. But that is just one of a huge number of studies supporting diet therapy for numerous conditions including ADHD, autism, seizures, and learning difficulties, some of them complied by the Feingold Association for the Feingold diet. In the past 14 years in the Cherab Foundation we’ve had strong positive parental and professional anecdotal feedback from thousands for the use of nutritional strategies added to the diet. While many parents of special needs children already follow healthier diets, such as the Feingold Diet, this started specifically with the addition of a very specific formula of essential fatty acids, mainly provided through fish oils or algae that is high in EPA to DHA (both Omega 3s) with a small amount of GLA (Omega 6 from primrose or borage seed oil). Since the Fall of 2009, this also includes the addition of all the essential amino acids and the majority of other essential nutrients through food ingredients provided by the original formula of Nutriiveda (NV). Both fish oils and NV Original are approved by the Feingold Association for the Feingold Diet. Just by adding fish oils and NV Original to the diet, parental as well as professional anecdotal including from medical doctors and therapists in the US and around the globe, claim improvements in various areas, including academic, in close to 100% of the patients they advise to take NV original.
NV is a nickname for a product called Nutriiveda- but since the Fall of 2009, thousands of families have been using the original formula- so it’s sometimes called NV original.
NV original is an all natural food product formulated and endorsed by Dr. Deepak Chopra. All ingredients are foods which are well known as healthy and benign, used daily in the east or west. The foods in NV contain as a blend a rich profile of all the essential amino acids and other essential nutrients. All ingredients in NV Original are certified foods that are tested free of gluten, casein, heavy metals, hormones, pesticides or herbicides, stimulants, preservatives, or any genetically modified or synthetic contaminants. Lisa Geng from the Cherab Foundation discovered by accident when she added NV Original to her son Tanner’s diet to lose a few pounds; not expecting him to have surges in many areas as reported by her son’s school. Since Fall of 2009, like Tanner Geng, there are thousands of other families who have tried NV Original with various SLPs and MDs reporting the same or similar positive results with around 100% success in the patients they recommend NV Original to. We believe it’s just due to providing the body with good nutrition that is easily digestible, as there is a growing amount of research for nutrition’s effect on cognition. Hi, I wanted to comment that both my children age 14 and 10 are on NV and my son has now been off all seizure meds. for almost 5 months( AFTER BEING ON FOR 9 YRS) and my daughter will be evaluated for removal off of her seizure meds in the new year! This product is incredible and has helped them in so many ways, speech, cognitive, sleep issues,immune system, physically as well.
How long had they been on the Nutraveda?
We started our daughter on nutriiveda one week ago today. Originally 1 scoop now almost 2. On day 3 we had noticed something. Hard to describe other than another layer to her speech and awareness. she was playing a memory game and matter of factly stated when she saw bats in her words, that they come out at night and eat bugs! I didn’t know she knew that! Then the next day she was at ease tracing her letters and even spelled CAT for me..tracing has been a major hairdo..the following day while passing a mural we see 2x weekly leaving therapy she noticed it had a volcano and told me they went boom and were very hot1 this is what I mean..she is sharing what she knows without being asked…inspiring..we aren’t changing a thing..maybe adding up tp to 2 scoops though! Saw our family doc today who looked it over and gave her blessing so there ya go! Thank You more than I can say:)

I have a 3 year old daughter with what they call a ‘severe speech delay’. I’m really interested to know how your product works, I’m willing to try anything to help her get more words, she can say very little and gets so angry when I don’t know what she wants!! Are there any other parents out there who have found this helps with speech?

I HIGHLY recommend Nutriiveda- from what we have seen there is no doubt in my mind this is through just good essential nutrition providing either what was lacking or unable to be utilized prior due to compromised metabolic systems. sometimes I guess it does get to be this easy.
