Because every child has a right to good nutrition, even if they can’t ask for it yet
The Cherab Foundation is a world-wide nonprofit organization working to improve the communication skills and education of all children with speech and language delays and disorders. Our area of emphasis in addition to autism is verbal and oral apraxia, severe neurologically-based speech and language disorders that hinder children’s ability to speak.
The Cherab Foundation is committed to assisting with the development of new therapeutic approaches, preventions, and cures to neurologically-based speech disorders. We bring together parents and medical, research, and educational professionals. Please join us and help to give our children a smile and a voice.
The Cherab Foundation is a worldwide 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that for close to two decades has been working to improve the communication skills, education, and advocacy of the verbal disabled;
Our area of emphasis is apraxia and autism and we are very active on social media with our outreach. The Cherab Foundation is grassroots and 100 percent volunteer-based. All money raised go directly to support our initiatives to help deal with communication impairments which currently include: crowdFunnit, Late Talkers and Pursuit of Research.
crowdFunnit
At the core crowdFunnit brings people together, raising
awareness about differences while fostering acceptance and compassion for children with a communication impairment. Helping a friendless child celebrate a birthday is just an incredible mechanism in which to help make this happen. The party itself and any media attention it brings will help fight bullying at the root while the community connections will exist long after the party ends. Our most recent party is a perfect example of this recipe for success. Learn more at crowdFunnit.org
Late Talkers
Late Talkers is a multimedia project by an award winning producer along with talented media and nonprofit professionals designed to foster acceptance, share personal stories and provide resources to individuals and families impacted by communication disorders. We believe all have a right to be heard and understood. This is a teaser to our first documentary. Learn more at LateTalkersFilm.com
Pursuit Of Research
Pursuit of Research promotes and seeks clinical validation for using healthy nutrition as a therapeutic way to address communication impairments. We are committed to assisting with the development of nutritional therapeutic approaches, preventions, and cures for communication impairments that affect all ages with a focus on children. The Cherab Foundation hosted a conference with leading research doctors from the US and UK on the therapeutic use of fish oils for apraxia, a severe communication impairment, that can be integrative to traditional speech and occupational therapies. We are currently seeking partners that can help us further expand our mission.
